This quick and easy Orange Rhubarb Sauce Recipe is simply the best rhubarb topping sacue for pound cake, pancakes, waffles, crepes, ice cream, puddings and more!

You can use fresh rhubarb or frozen rhubarb for this sauce recipe.
When making a rhubarb sauce or syrup recipe there is NO need to thaw the frozen rhubarb before making the recipe.
Make it in MINUTES!
Note - if you prefer to use your stove-top instead of the microwave, bring rhubarb to a boil, and simmer on low for about 10 - 15 minutes, stirring often so as not to allow the mixture to stick to bottom of pan.
4 cups chopped fresh or frozen rhubarb
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup orange juice
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Combine all the above ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl.
and micro-wave on medium-high, or high (depending on Microwave
wattage), for 8 - 10 minutes, or until the rhubarb is tender.
Stir occasionally during cooking.
Allow to cool, or serve warm.Serves 4.
