What are the Red Spots
On my Rhubarb Leaves?

... what are the red spots on the rhubarb leaves? ... is it okay to harvest the stalks? ...

My rhubarb seems to be doing well, except for some red dots on the leaves ... what are the red dots?

The stalks seem fine.

I wanted to know if it is alright to harvest the stalks.

The red spots on the leaves of the rhubarb plant are a leaf spot, most likely caused by a fungus.

Depending on the type of fungus, it does not usually affect the quality of the stalks, but rather is an aesthetic problem for the leaves.

YES, by all means I would harvest the rhubarb if the stalks do not show signs of fungus ... and ENJOY!
